New Jersey Boat Sale & Expo FAQ –  Everything you need to know before you go!

Where is the boat show located?
The boat show is held at the New Jersey Convention & Exposition Center, located at 97 Sunfield Ave. in Edison, NJ, in the Raritan Center business park. The venue is conveniently accessible via major highways (near the NJ Turnpike, Garden State Parkway, Route 440, US Route 1, and I-287) and offers ample free parking for attendees.

What are the show dates and hours?
Thursday, February 12 – 11am to 7pm
Friday, February 13 – 11am to 7pm
Saturday, February 14 – 10am to 7pm
Sunday, February 15 – 10am to 5pm

How much are tickets?
Adult Admission: $15
Order tickets online and save $5! (Amazing deal!)
Children 12 and under: FREE with a paid adult

Where can I buy tickets?
Tickets can be purchased:
Online here (recommended to save money)
At the door during show hours (cash and credit cards accepted)

If I buy online, do I have to print out my ticket before I get to the show?
You do not need to print out the tickets, but you will be required to access and provide the electronic ticket on your mobile device.

How can I confirm my purchase went through?
You will receive a confirmation email/receipt with a link to view your mobile ticket or PDF. Please save the email for reference until the show.

Can I gift my ticket to someone else, even if it has my name on it?
Yes, however tickets can only be used once.

Is parking available?
Yes, free on-site parking is available at the venue.

Is there Handicapped Parking?
Yes, there are designated handicapped parking spaces at the NJ Expo Center.

Is there Wi-Fi?
Yes, there is Wi‐Fi available for purchase from the NJ Expo Center.

Are dogs/pets allowed?
Yes, leashed pets are allowed. We ask owners to use good judgment and only bring pets that are well-behaved and comfortable in crowded indoor environments. Owners are responsible for their pets at all times. Of course, service animals are welcome.

What will I see at the boat show?
The boat show features:

Whether you’re shopping for a boat or just dreaming about the season ahead, there’s something for everyone.

Can I get on the boats?
Yes, most boats on display are available for the public to board, however, it is always at the dealer’s discretion.

Do you sell used boats?
No, but many exhibitors have used boat listings in their spaces.

Can I buy a boat at the show?
Yes! Many attendees shop, compare, and purchase boats directly at the show. Dealers are on hand to answer questions, discuss options, and help you find the perfect fit—with exclusive show deals you won’t find elsewhere.

Is the show family-friendly?
Absolutely! The boat show is a family-friendly event, and children are welcome. Special activities for kids will be available on Saturday and Sunday in the Kids Cove.

Will there be food and beverages?
Yes, the food court will be open, and bars will be available for purchasing alcoholic beverages.

Can I re-enter the show?
Yes, same-day re-entry is permitted. Just get a hand stamp before leaving. Note: Tickets are valid for one day of the show only.

Who runs the boat show?
The boat show is produced by the Marine Trades Association of New Jersey (MTA/NJ), a non-profit organization whose mission is to promote, protect, and advance the recreational boating industry in New Jersey. All proceeds from the show directly support these industry efforts.
