“I SPY” Scavenger Hunt
Located on Sandy Hook, the NJ Sea Grant Consortium conducts marine science research and education. Little skippers can participate in a nautical version of “I Spy Scavenger Hunt” at the show and those skippers that successfully complete their watch can visit the NJSGC exhibit for a take home marine science craft.
Face Painting
Face Painting is back! Artists from Lori’s Facepainting will be in the Kids Cove on Saturday 12-4 and Sunday 12-3 to paint your child’s face with a fun design. Don’t forget to snap a selfie and use hashtag #JerseyBoatExpo!
Turtle Tank
Kids will be able to get a glimpse of some real turtles! What do they eat? Where do they live? Take a peek in the tank and learn all about these sea creatures from representatives from the NJ Sea Grant Consortium.
Kids Crafts
Set sail for creativity! Kids will be able to decorate their own wooden fish ornament, scratch an under-the-sea bookmark, or both! Have fun making nautical masterpieces to take home.
